Futuristic vision of "Farming 2025" does not forget drones as one of the major improvements of the current state of farming, and in general seed to crop management.

The cooperation of AgDAy, the editors at Adweb.com and Farm Journal publications the futurist took a wild guess at what the future holds for the farmers. They did agreed that the majority of stuff that is being farmed corn and soy beans will remain the main article even ten years into the future. What they think will change, however, is the way farmers treat these common plants.

For one they mention precision agriculture, which involves constant data actualizations about the state of the field and the needs of the plants. Precision agriculture is also the main reason for which I inform you about the Farming 2025 futuristic vision, it is basically, because it involves UAVs.

Even in the vision imagined by the farmers, there will be need for constant measurement and analysis of the fields if we are to improve farming efficiency. There are things that only the right equipment can unveil these things may be plant's diseases, watering, nutrition and fertilization status and so on.

Every inch of every field can be precisely scanned with the help of an infrared camera mounted on a UAV. The trick is that infrared cameras can give us, humans, with more information that our own eyes can provide us with.

"[...] on closer inspection, you may notice new high-tech tools to help them get the job done. Drones to check crop status and web cameras to look in on grain elevators will be commonplace. Farmers will be running their entire operation from mobile devices."

The use of UAVs in precision agriculture is currently spreading through the world of framing and is increasing the outcomes of farmers every time they use their UAV to check upon their fields.
